And more info here where a rep from Turbine Media is answering questions.

Will be all region, English friendly and have all of the extras from the Shout! Factory releases.

    It's about time.

Have not bought this on Blu yet as after seeing the uncut version, the censored version is useless to me.
Glad to see this become available after all these years...so annoying cuts made for US market were so prevalent in other countries.

It's a constant source of annoyance that's mostly happened since everything went digital and masters were created from US R rated cuts of films rather than locally. Films that I used to have on VHS suddenly are missing bits due to this practice. Examples are A Nightmare on Elm Street, Candyman (thankfully now fixed), Casino, Wild at Heart etc. Thankfully there are smal companies that care, that is if they can get the rights from the big non-fuck giving studios.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

Some pictures of the packaging here. This is quite the set!

You can also get a look at it in this video.

Nice packaging, but too rich for my blood. Hoping there's a standalone of the first one at some point.

I just finished reading Steve Rebello's extensive cover piece in Cinefantastique (Oct. 1986). He goes into some detail about the various cuts. Hitchcock was fully aware of the censorship issues as he was making and editing the picture, including several back and forths with the ratings board. It was certainly common for there to be so-called 'Continental Versions' of films made during this era - racier for European markets, and, usually, more violent for the U.S. and Japan.
PSYCHO was no different in this regard. Apparently, there was footage shot where you saw more of Janet Leigh in the shower sequence including views of more of her behind and pastie covered breasts. Not sure how much of that footage ever made it into those 'Continental versions' outside of the millisecond of extra bra removal in the clip posted prior.Name: cinef.jpg
