Actually, reading further down in that same thread it looks like this release was cancelled due to 'copyright issues.'

Shame, would have looked good on a Texas governor's desk. Actually looks heavy enough to take some fucker out if you hit them on the head with it.

There was a recent profile of Faces of Death/Conan LeCilaire on the Snap Judgment podcast, episode 926. There are interviews with "LeCilaire" - who now sells assault weapons in Colorado - as well as with one of the students who infamously reported her high school teacher who had played the film for his entire class and allegedly forced the girl to stay and watch in spite of her shock and discomfort.

So the guy who did Faces of Death is a Colorado gun dealer? Happen to know the name of the shop?

How's the US bd release? I haven't seen it since vhs & maybe only once or twice.

The US disc is good. Looks about as good as you'd want it to and as good as it can given the nature of the production. The commentary on it is excellent.

I tried to do some sleuthing to figure it out - he doesn't say the name in the interview but my guess is that it's in the foothills area, possibly Evergreen or around South Park.
