Coming to Blu-ray 8/28 from Cinema Cult in Australia as per Dawn Of The Discs.

Not much in the way of details at all but br.com has a page for it here:

Sounds good. I like spooky apartment renter/owner stories. Is that a sub-genre?

So this is streaming on Prime in HD. Not an amazing presentation, definitely sourced from an older master, but better than the DVD. No idea how the Prime stream compares to the Australian Blu-ray. Anyway, having watched it again over the weekend for the first time in at least a decade, the movie really does hold up well. It's spooky and weird but also very funny. Polanski is great in front of and behind the camera and the supporting cast, Adjani in particular, are also really solid. I'd love to see Criterion get their hands on this like they have with some of Polanski's other pictures.

I'm hoping Criterion continues to release Polanski's films and The Tenant gets the special treatment.

Is this still with Paramount? I remember a few years ago Alec Baldwin mentioning in an interview that Jack Nicholson has the rights, which I found a little odd.
