Now that I've had the time to sit down and actually watch the disc, with a strong critical eye (and ear) towards the transfer and sound (as I've seen the film dozens of times over the years), I will say this: it's adequate without being exemplary. Although the transfer is 1080i, it's quite strong with good colours, detail and balance. It's the Dolby 2.0 soundtrack that has some, shall we say, "issues". But I'll detail the whole shooting match for everyone right here on Rock! Shock! Pop! with a review of the disc within the next day or so. Sit tight!

And, re:The Vampire Lovers, we're done! Watch Mike's keyboard and fingers explode! Hmmm, might go and watch Night of the Eagle now...or Night of the Living Dead, in HD...
