Sony put it out here a couple of years ago. It's a fun one.

Good to hear! I'll look forward to it (might be a late year purchase along with some other oldies).

I had a day off today and had a chance to watch my 'quatermass and the pit' blu ray,and i have to say that i was really impressed. The film looks fantastic, also it was the first time i have viewed the ilm in about 8 years and i still find it to be a real solid film.Nigel kneale really knew how to write great material.Highly recommended

Does anybody know when icon are planning on releasing the re-pressed 'captain kronos - vampire hunter' dvd ?

I'm sorry, but I read that as "captain kangaroo - vampire hunter". I would double-dip for that.

A new book - The Hammer Vault - is due soon:

"The Hammer Vault is a remarkable journey through the Hammer archives including props, annotated script pages, unused poster artwork, production designs, rare promotional material and private correspondence. Hundreds of rare and previously unseen stills help to create a rich souvenir of Hammer’s legacy, from the X-certificate classics of the 1950s to the studio’s latest productions."

And then there's the Hammer Glamour Calender featuring the lovely ladies the studio was known for also coming soon.

    Details here.

I was curious if Caroline & Valerie are going to be in it so I just did a search, but I can't find a full list of who's featured. Here's the ones I did see listed:

    Caroline Munro
    Raquel Welch
    Ingrid Pitt
    Ursula Andress

I've had Valerie on the mind this week! Blood From The Mummy's Tomb is a good 'Halloween season' type of movie.

Sadly I've never seen that one. It's out of print now I think.

Synapse just posted this on their Facebook page. Gotta say, that makes me pretty happy.

Shit, I just posted those in a separate thread. Ian, you'll have to wipe the thread out. D'oh!
