Thread: My top 10 porn films, why the hell aren't they all on Blu Ray or 4K

got New Wave Hookers in the mail last night, and watched it for the first time in a long time, that is one good movie, very funny. I am annoyed though by the fact that a lot of the movies I want are out of print now on DVD. At least 50% of the classic porn DVD's I had are now no longer available it seems. Really not happy about that, Most all of the VCA stuff is out of print. Caballero only sells stuff in paper sleeves, and I am not really impressed by that, considering the quality of most of their DVD's is horrible anyhow, if all I want is a DVD with no case, artwork or anything, so they are kind of a rip off now. Also what is up with Behind the Green Door, all the other Mitchell Brothers films seem to be out on DVD except for the original Behind the Green Door. Even the sequel is out on DVD. So not sure why that is the case. I ordered Debbie Does Dallas, the 30th anniversary edition. Got it, and it was scratched all to hell, definitely not a new DVD, looked like an ex rental, or something, not sure how it even got through quality control. That's the same problems I was having 10 years ago when I bought a copy of Debbie Does Dallas. Seems with porn DVD's the defect rate is WAY higher than with mainstream movies. Anyone ever notice that?

BEHIND THE GREEN DOOR is out on DVD. It's an extra on THE NEW BEHIND THE GREEN DOOR from Vivid. It's on a separate disc.

Many years ago I came across a scene online that really grabbed me and I didn't know the actors or the name of the film. It really grabbed me and I've always wanted to track it down. Since joining this site I have since learned the male actor is likely John Leslie. I recently came across a still pic online that I believe is from that film. Anyone know the name of the film or the actress?

    Surely that’s Veronica Hart?

Yes that's Hart. I even recognize the scene but I'm having trouble recalling from what film exactly.

It's the same disc that was available just repackaged with the other, so in other words it's very watchable but a dated transfer.

Re: Skintight... they'd better clear the Vangelis opening music (Pulsar"), even though its credited to "Sabu." Whoever Sabu is, he did not write and arrange Pulsar.

Several of these are in my Top 10, too: 3AM, THE PINK LAGOON (love most Frazer/Svetlana films), FEMMES DE SADE, DEVIL IN MISS JONES III & IV.

I'd replace INSATIABLE with MIDNIGHT HEAT.
