I'm in for at least a couple of episodes. Jason Bateman is the man.

The book was quite good. I don't have HBO so will wait until it hits Netflix.

I thought the book was the best thing King has done in a long time (and I say that as someone who has loved virtually all his recent books), I raced through all 560 pages in no time that summer. I cancelled HBO after GOT but have been sorely tempted to get it again for this. I hope HBO releases it on BD.

We’ve been watching this and also watched Castle Rock season 2 at the same time, and it’s funny how many screenwriters just don’t seem to get that Stephen King wrote his stuff right the first time, and changing things around doesn’t improve it.

The Outsider has been quite good and really feels like King’s writing come to life. Castle Rock S2 changed so much about the characters and places that it made me wonder why they bothered keeping any of the names the same, and was just a mess within a few episodes.

I’d watch another series by the team making The Outsider, but Castle Rock can fuck right off.

I'll drink to that. I watched the first season of CASTLE ROCK and hated it. Have zero interest in seeing any more. I gather some folks liked S1 but to me it didn't feel at all like King aside from some place and character names.
