A wonderfully British response to death. I'm surprised Labyrith doesn't get mentioned more. I guess being a Python does overshadow all but I'd gladly chuck all of the Python stuff to keep Labyrinth which is maybe the best kids film ever written to my mind.

Palin was interviewed on the BBC news on the day of Jones' death and broke down in tears. It was a tough thing to watch but very touching too. The pair were clearly very good friends.

On another note, if you're ever in the vicinity of Doune Castle in Scotland and decide to pay a visit, be sure to take the opportunity to listen to the audio guide. It's narrated by Jones and talks about the shooting of MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL. (Doune Castle doubled for about three of the castles that appear in the film.) It's damned good.
