I'm about half way through Mark Evans' Dirty Deeds book on his time with AC/DC. So far it's pretty interesting. Lots of stories about girls and cocaine and booze.

Picked up & didn't want to put down Scott Chantler's NORTHWEST PASSAGE. It's a Canadian historical comic, good fur traders vs bad fur traders, noble savages; sort of James Fenimore Cooper without women. It's slight -- I guess I was hoping for something LOUIS RIELish. But if it's less great than Chester Brown's book, it's also way more fun. I read the annotated edition, which means Chantler spends the last bit of the book pointing out how good the book was: annoying, skippable. The comic itself was okay, though.

Just got THE DEAD MAN'S BROTHER, Roger Zelazny's posthumous non-sf novel that Hard Case put out a couple of years ago. I should pay more attention to stuff.

Got a nasty cold last week and spent about 4 days laying in bed reading and watching dvds.

My Life outside the ring by Hulk Hogan

Found this really cheap. Had read Hogan's first biography years ago,and while it was full of shit,it was entertaining. This one wasn't as good as the first one. And in the first 4 chapters the stories he tells contradicts some of the stories he told in the first book.

    Fables Volume 8 Wolves

Usually I buy 2 volumes of this comic a year. This trade seems to be building up to something massive later on.

    Savage Dragon Archives volume 2

Back in the 90s I loved Savage Dragon and read the first 20 issues. This volume reprints about 30 issues and ends on a great cliffhanger. I love how Savage Dragon is like a 80s Cannon action film but with Dragon replacing Bronson.

Reading Apocalypse Culture right now. It's been on my shelf for some time and actually never took the time to read it. Planning to read Violence Girl afterward.
