You can ALWAYS find the used paperbacks cheap, you probably won't have any trouble.

Beautiful book - it belongs on a coffee table. The layout is that nice.

Just in the mail, I can't believe I finally scored one of these, and for a reasonable price at that!

    Ian:

Amazon re-seller, there's several on there, but this was the perfect combo of price and condition (26.00 plus shipping)

    Mike:

The pages are yellowing a tad, but the binding is great! Seller said it was read once and shelved, and it looks it.

I actually sent the guy a big glowing thank you email (I never do this), because I really couldn't believe I finally had my own copy. I remember when these things were rare as hen's teeth and commanding high prices. I see the same happening for your book, Mike!

So I finished Black And White And Blue and it was a pretty great read.

Next up? My dad bought me a book called Deconstructing Obama that he claimed would be impartial and non-partisan but which turns out to have been written by a World Net Daily columnist (a fact I'm sure he was aware of) and will likely be as impartial and non-partisan as Michael Moore. But my dad isn't a rich guy and he put out some money on this book, so I'll at least give it a shot out of guilt (which is probably what he was counting on when he bought it).

I love my dad, I really do, he's a great guy 99.9% of the time but I wish he'd stop trying to make me a neo-con.

lol - that sounds too familiar. My dad? He only refers to the prez by his middle name, w/ full emphasis on the latter syllable: "Hus-SEIN". Heh.

Oh and instead of starting that Obama book I started The Mole People instead, which is so far a really fascinating look into the NYC homeless subculture that exists in the tunnels under midtown that spread up through Harlem.
