^^^ I've been meaning to ask if anyone has checked these out yet? I'm wondering if they have been remastered? The there is no indication on the sleeves that they have been. Also, with the exception of Rockinnreelininaucklandnewzealand all these releases restore the original vinyl configurations so all the b-sides included in previous CD editions have been removed. A bummer, unless there is a b-sides collection in the works. Fingers crossed.

Our local record shop just got the first of the reissues in, which was Fiends of Dope Island. But, I already have that one on vinyl and it's the most recent, so I'm not bothering. They say the other ones are starting to come in, but he didn't mention remaster, just reissue on Vengeance.

There's a new 'live' album coming out in the UK in January.

    It's a bootleg I'm sure.

Thanks for the heads up. Amazon UK already has the MP3 version for sale. You can preview all the tracks as well. Bootleg quality sound, but I've heard much worse.

I think I read that the first of these new pressings are supposed to be colord vinyl as well? With the exception of A Date With Elvis and Rockinnreelin I don't have any of these albums on vinyl to I might be tempted to grab them.

My copy of Date With Elvis is the blue vinyl limited edition European Tour Edition blah blah blah from the 80s. I don't have Smell of Female on vinyl, so i may cave on that one. I'll report on vinyl colours tomorrow.

I've heard the tracks, Ben, but never bought it.
