From Anchor Bay, 4/26/2011.
No word on specs or if Fando Y Lis will be coming too, so I wouldn't get rid of that AB boxed set just yet.
Cover art (which, not surprisingly, looks a whole lot like the DVD art)!

Rock! Shock! Pop!
El Topo! Bombing! Y'know what? I am almost 99% sure that El Topo was 'scope when I saw it at a midnight screening on the big screen some years back? Any ideas?
I've never seen it projected but the AR on the Anchor Bay DVD looked pretty good to my eyes.

Hmm - the print I saw at the NW Film Center w/ Jodorowsky presenting it didn't seem 'scope to mine eyes...
It's not going to suck itself...
I was pretty happy with both of these. I think Holy Mountain looks a bit more film like than El Topo, but both are noticeable improvements over the DVDs.
Not to get a proper edition of Tusk and Blu-rays of Fando Y Lis and The Rainbow Thief....
Rock! Shock! Pop!
Didn't that Rainbow Thief DVD go out of print already?
I don't know. It was a German release, Amazon.de still has it in stock.

So it's Jodomania these days it seems.
Now there is a documentary being made about his attempt to get Dune filmed before Lynch did it. Twitch has a cool article/press release here.
