    What I would have done if I had the power to do so: go for the gore like in the theatrical cut but play up the cult angle more, completely ditch the Howard Stern ripoff character, play up the angle with the boy hearing the same voices to kill (something that was completely forgotten about mid-way through both cuts), and explain why Myers is immortal and then use that explanation as a way to kill him or put him at rest for a while. And probably omit the fact that Myers raped his niece and just have her die like in the theatrical cut. Here's a bold move: someone debates killing the baby as a way to just end the blood line and Myers' reign. Explore what Myers would do if he kills off all members of his family as opposed to just hanging out eating baby food and getting the shit kicked out of him by Busta Rhymes.

    And people are reporting that the mono track on the UHD disc not the original mono track, but the crappy downmix found on the 35th anniversary Blu-ray.
