    Chan-wook Park's Stoker

So the first footage from Park's English language debut has popped up online.

    Plot synopsis from Fangoria:

"After India's (Wasikowska) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him."

The movie stars Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode.

looks more like a cover of a book than a movie poster!

I am still not feeling good things about this movie yet......I may watch Argento's version just to lower my expectations on this one.....knowing that it probably wont be worse than that one!!

I really like the poster! At least it's something different. Pretty classy looking, I think.

Another new poster. I like the illustrated version better but this is probably more mainstream and will probably do a better job of marketing the movie.

The first clip doesn't look terrible, but that doesn't mean it's not. Second clip has been removed. I want him to keep making Korean movies. :/

Come on Alison....Keep up the hope that he will be able to deliver a solid movie in the States....

We NEED this to be a hit so he can go on to do better things with a better budget (and better editors!!!)
