Yup, just preordered it from Diabolik last night. There's sort of a ridiculous amount of good cult releases coming in September...

Really looking forward to more of his stuff coming out on blu.

I haven't really checked out the 80s Tinto, the Cheeky cover is certainly inviting. Where should I start?

    Coing!

Anyone in Hollywood might be interested in this...

"Director Tinto Brass talking about his upcoming retrospective at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival this December. The retrospective will be featuring newly restored versions of Tinto's most creative and experimental films from the 1960's and 70's: Dropout and La Vacanza, both starring Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero, Nerosubianco, and many more.

These restored films have not screened theatrically in the US since the 1970's, and most are unavailable on home video. All feature-films contain unreleased footage from the Tinto Brass archives."

I really do love everything Tinto Brass but I have to say that Monamour left me very unimpressed. It is definately my least favorite of his films.

I dug it. I think the weakest of his 'sex' films is Snack Bar Budapest.
