Thread: where's David Lynch?

Man, it would be interesting to see Trent and David try to do something on par of the Broken Video.

Don't think Treant is interested in pushing the boundaries like that these days..he seems to have mellowed with age........but still could be an interesting collaboration between the two fo them...but I guess more LYNCH inspired than BROKEN-era inspired..

David has just made his own record.

I haven't heard it yet though.

    From Bleeding Cool:

"Back in the spring of 2011, David Lynch directed the live stream of Duran Duran concert. Today, the director’s cut of this film is going to screen in the Cannes marketplace which, all things being equal, will see it snapped up for distribution. Judging from recent concert film releases, I expect we’ll see a limited cinema roll-out followed by a DVD and Blu-ray."

I saw this yesterday. It's essentially a straight-ahead concert film with a bunch of stuff superimposed. That's the dumbed-down explanation, but it doesn't get much more interesting than that. lynch says he was hoping for some happy accidents, but overlaying a google earth looking rendition of the earth during Planet Earth, a wolf during Hungry Like The Wolf, etc....this one isn't breaking any new ground IMO.
