Hooray! I finally get to catch up on some of the Shaw martial arts crap I missed...

    http://www.arc-ent.com/dragondynasty.html

It's Blood Brothers, Flying Guillotine 1 & 2, Golden Swallow and Mad Monkey Kung Fu for me! Pity they'll only have the audio in mono over the 5.1 and 5.1EX remixes that the Shaw Digital Restoration Centre did for Celestial. Guess you can't win them all...

If they're coming out under Dragon Dynasty in Australia, maybe they'll follow suit here. I am missing a few of those ones too.

I'm pretty sure ARC Entertainment are an American company. Looks like the Dragon Dynasty back catalogue has been sublicenced out to other distributors in the US, which at least now means stuff it going to see a release! If we all waited on that fat bastard Weinstein to do something with the titles he acquires, nothing would ever happen.

Yeah, I just noticed these up on Amazon for a Sept. release:

    Goldon Swallow
    Killer Clan
    Blood Brothers
    Avenging Eagle

I'm sure the others can't be far behind.

So The One Armed Swordsman was supposed to be out on BD in HK but DDD House has it listed as unavailable. I know there's a Taiwanese BD available but don't know much about it. Any idea why the HK release seems to have vanished? I can't find any evidence that it even made it out at all.

Oddly, I couldn't get an answer out of my contact in HK. She was really good initially, but when I put in a request as to the delays on the OAS set...things went quiet! I'll give it another bash tonight and let you all know if she gets back to me, yeah? The Taiwanese BD should be identical to the ones IVL were going to release back in April.

I figured the Taiwanese disc would probably be fine, but it's over $30 at Yes Asia, and add in shipping and it gets pricey. I was hoping to get it at DDDHouse with a few other discs next week.

I've bumped off a quick email to my contact in HK -- I'll let you know when she gets back to me.
