Unfortunately, it seems that the rumour that Synapse were releasing Opera is just that, a rumour. I ask a few q's on facebook and Don May basically shot the rumours down by saying that the teaser he put on his facebook page started the rumours, but then took a life of its own and there was no truth in it. They are not working on OPERA!!

But he admits he started the rumors himself...wtf? I don't care one way or the other since OPERA isn't a particular favorite (nor is Synapse as far as companies go) but that was a stupid thing to do.

The last good Argento film but heavily (emphasis added) flawed. The metal music doesn't fit and the lapses in logic are astonishing throughout. But it was so well shot and stylish that it almost makes up for all the flaws.

Well that sucks. What the hell was he thinking creating those rumors?
He didn't. But if you see the first post on this thread... he posted the "eyes" on his facebook page, and then everyone just assumed. However, his cryptic responses in the comments that followed only fuelled the rumours, and he did very little to quash them rumours. Its a real shame as I thought synapse would be the first to take on Opera on Blu, and then maybe just maybe someone on my side of the pond would have followed suit.
His answer is what started the rumor, so really what was he thinking when he responded the way he did.

I guess so, sukebanboy. I assume that Blue Underground still has OPERA.
