Butthole Surfers' first 4 LPs reissued on Vinyl

through their own Latino Bugger Veil label. The original Touch & Go LPs have been out of print for quite some time (*and/or destroyed as part of their lawsuit against that label).

    Psychic Powerless Another Man's Sac
    Rembrandt Pussyhorse
    Locust Abortion Technician
    Hairway to Steven

no extra tunes or fancy packaging. Remastered, but not remixed.

Whew! It's good to hear that I don't need to replace my old T&G versions.

I'm getting a little burned out on re-buying records due to remixes and a few extra tracks.

Awesome news....I never bought the records. Locust Abortion Technician is the scariest album I've ever heard.

I have a real affinity for Hairway To Steven, hit me at the right time I guess.

I wish the Lee Harvey Oswald Band's stuff on Touch ad Go would get some really nice reissues...massively underrated and awesome band.
I don't go to church. Kneeling bags my nylons.

I don't feel a need to rebuy these, but it is nice to see these classics back in print. And I'm with Andrew in that Hairway is my favorite of theirs. It hits that sweet spot between fucked up and accessible.

I lost (or someone borrowed indefinitely) my PPAMS so I might need to get that again. I like all these albums, they're all weird, but all different from each other too. I always come back to them.

My first exposure to Butthole Surfers was hanging at a friend of mine's parents house. We were in his basement bombed on acid, and he was like, "I KNOW WHAT WE SHOULD LISTEN TO!" and then he put on Locust Abortion Technician...then he put on "Kuntz". I was fucking TERRIFIED.

Well. I picked up Hairway to Steven and Locust Abortion Technician. They're still sealed. Guess I need to score some blotter, and then pencil in a couple of days where I don't have to drive or have any responsibilities so I can listen to them.
