I like Gilgun, but could they not find an Irish actor?

I bet he's a gay vampire. That would be much better than the comic. In fact anything they change will make it better than the comic. yeah. that's the ticket.

An Englishman as Jesse is fucking stupid, if that Cooper guy gets the role. I don't want someone who grew up calling people "guvner" to play someone who grew up saying "y'all". It ain't natural.

    Do not dispute my stance.

More than likely looking to shoot it in England somewhere, save some bucks with UK actors, etc.

Nothing represents the deep U.S. south quite like sheep, rolling hills, and overcast skies. That would be a great choice for location shooting to represent the swamps of Louisiana.

It in no way excites me. When in the comic did Jesse have a sitdown on Arseface's bed?

These casting choices are not bad, but the fact that this is landing on AMC means that the content that's in the comics will be all but neutered for TV. I'm still on the fence about this one, but if this sucks, I'll be really disappointed. As this is one of the best comic series of the last couple of decades, this series needs to be done right. I'm still not sold on Rogen doing this justice. We'll see.

I'm also very curious who their choice for The Saint of Killers will be. Lance Henriksen would be AWESOME, and in a perfect world we'd get Clint Eastwood, but that'll never happen.
