    The bottom 3/4 of the Eagle/Earle marquee in my neighborhood was taken down last week. Can't go through this thread to find a picture of what it was (at work and all) but just figured I'd mentioned it since several of you here have seen it in person.

    That does suck.

    Here is a tiny bit of good news: this 1922 signage was just uncovered in my hood (downtown Vancouver) last week when they tore down the building next to it. No one had any idea it was there:



    Which is all very awesome, because "Grandma's Breasts" is my all-time favourite Harold Lloyd movie.

    I think that's really cool. Are they tearing that building down too? If not will someone preserve the sign? Probably not. They'll paint over it.
