Looks like there's an audio synch issue on the Shriek Show featurette that was carried over to the new CR disc.

I’ve read that the sync issue goes back to the original materials.

No, it's fine on the DVD. It only goes out of sync on the new blu because Code Red cut out all of director Lieberman's interview segments from the featurette (which is why it's 17 minutes shorter than on the Shriek Show disc), and in that process they must've let the audio drift.

The DVD had the audio adjusted for sync, and they forgot to do it for the Blu. Seriously.

Someone at the BD Forums posted several pictures from a 1980 family camping trip where they happened to come across the set. Really awesome stuff.

That's awesome. I've been to the park where it was filmed but that was in the early 2000's and obviously the sets were long gone. It's a gorgeous park.

Kino is giving a wide release to Code Red's Blu-ray on January 12th. And the Kino Insider says the out of sync featurette has been fixed.
