That's a pretty good choice, actually.
Dude looks like a John Romita Jr. drawing come to life.

I'm always amused when an actor or actress "naturally" looks like some comic artist's work, especially when said actor/actress is working on an adaptation of said artist's work. I'm always amazed at how much Brittany Murphy looked like a Frank Miller drawing brought to life.

I actually just started watching this last night. The first episode was decent enough. Pretty gritty and violent and hey, sideboob! haha. I'll give this a few more episodes to pick up but so far so good.

I also realize I'm very late to this party.

Not as late as me, as I don't do streaming because my internet connection is too sucky. So, I've got to wait for it to come out on Blu-ray.

Watched episode two last night. I'd read somewhere, wikipedia maybe, that the guys behind the stunts and fight choreography for the show were using The Raid as inspiration and you can definitely see that in spots but the big finish in this episode, the brawl that takes place below the Russian restaurant, reminded me more of the hammer fight in the hallway in Oldboy than The Raid.

I'm still not done S1 yet but there's a good interview with Rosario Dawson here about what's gonna happen in S2.

3 episodes in out of 13 and it's still solid. The ending of episode 3 took me by surprise too - that was some Lucio Fulci style stuff! Be interesting to see where this goes now that D'Onofrio has been properly introduced into the show.

Nowhere but up, as D'Onofrio's villain is the highest of the many highlights Season 1 has to offer. Daredevil is this year's most pleasant surprise, and D'Onofrio's presence elevates it to another level altogether.

D'onofrio absolutely nailed it as the Kingpin. I hope he has a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
