Get ready for an erotic experience that puts ‘50 Shades of Grey’ in the shade!

Nucleus Films, who brought us ‘Video Nasties: A Definitive Guide 1’ & 2’ have put together a mind-blowing collection of curated carnality from the golden age of classic erotica, featuring films from such masters of the erotic as Just Jaeckin, Ken Russell, Tinto Brass, Jess Franco, Walerian Borowczyk and Radley Metzger.

Including salacious masterpieces such as ‘Story of O’. ‘Venus In Furs’, ‘The Beast’, ‘The Libertine’ and ‘Cruel Passion’ and featuring many famous faces including Rutger Hauer, Gerard Depardieu, Sylvia Kristel, Catherine Deneuve, Udo Keir and Koo Stark, this raunchy re-mastered collection of trailers with be released on April 13, 2015.

Marc Morris of Nucleus Films said today: “We felt that those who enjoyed FIFTY SHADES OF GREY may want to delve deeper into the world of kinky S&M and erotica, so we spent a considerable amount of time seeking out and compiling this collection of theatrical trailers for those films we felt are the most important works of cinematic erotica. Many were considered ground breaking, were censored or even banned when originally released. Like FIFTY SHADES, many of these earlier movies were also based on erotic novels or even case studies into sexual perversions. As you watch these trailers you may want to open your imagination further by investigating this darker world of quirky pleasures”.

Yeah, misguided marketing or not, this has the potential to be an awesome trailer comp.

Couldn't agree more! Poor marketing scheme and awful cover but it looks like the content will be amazing. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

You're probably right but his intentions are noble nonetheless. If anything good can come of the hoopla surrounding 50 Shades of False then perhaps some will want to look into transgressive fiction that's actually worthwhile and that is a seriously amazing list of films on this release.

Someone should really compile a list of real S&M films that approach the topic with respect and/or intelligence that people should watch instead of 50 Shades.

Haha, not doubting his intentions Tom...They are , after all trying to sell as many copies as possible...But I can see a LOT of surprised customers returning them to the store after watching it...Especially the JESS FRANCO stuff!!

Blue Underground tried the same thing with their de Sade box calling it "50 Shades of de Sade" and 3 out of the 4 films in that set were Francos! Just imagine a member of the target 50 Shades demographic watching an Ishii film!
