Suspiria and Django being developed as TV shows

"Argento will serve as artistic supervisor" of the SUSPIRIA show
Screen Daily reports that France’s Atlantique Productions and Italy’s Cattleya company have forged a co-development and co-production pact to turn both SUSPIRIA and the Franco Nero Western DJANGO into English-language shows. The former will be titled SUSPIRIA DE PROFUNDIS and inspired by the book of the same title by 19th-century British writer Thomas De Quincey, who will be the series’ lead character. Set in London and Rome at the turn of the 20th century, the program, for which Argento will serve as artistic supervisor, will establish De Quincey as a Sherlock Holmes type investigating supernatural mysteries and “psychological fantasies of evil.”
