Netflix - A Series Of Unfortunate Events

"Meet the star of a new Netflix series telling the story of a very handsome actor and three selfish and ungrateful orphans who refuse to give him the enormous fortune their dead parents left behind. On Netflix January 13 2017."

I never saw the movie or red any of the books and didn't really think I cared but this actually looks like it could be kind of fun.

The movie was decent, the books were well-written. Looking forward to this.

I checked it out for a few episodes. It's quirky and stuff...very heavy on the CGI, which is required for such a show, and some great performances. It just feels a little too young-kiddie for me, which is probably the aim, anyhow.

I watched this with my kiddo and enjoyed. The series gets better as it progresses and the plot gets denser which from what I understand is the same for the book series. The last scene of the last episode of season one is some of my favorite TV ever.

I got to the lumber mill and Don Johnson and it seemed to be getting better.

Not a fan. I tried to read one of the books to my brother a decade or more back and we didn't get through it. Tried to watch the first episode last week and only gott ten minutes in. It's just so.... something... I don't what it is... But the tone sets my teeth on edge.
