Does anyone know of an English friendly version, ideally on Blu-ray but DVD would suffice, of La Marge (The Margin)?

Did some digging last night and came up empty.

Best I've seen is the DVD-R sold at Trash Palace. Really good quality and it's the original French version. I stopped holding my breath for an official release a while ago. A movie like that has to be a nightmare for licensing just because of the soundtrack (Pink Floyd, Elton John, 10cc, ect…) Then again, Dr. Jekyll getting the treatment it finally got from Arrow was once considered an impossibility so I'll be a glass half-full type of guy on this one.

It's really a wonderful film. Depressing as all hell, but brilliantly executed and probably the best work from Kristel and Little Joe. Kristel even said it was her favorite film she worked on.

I've got a subbed torrent probably from the same source as the Trash Palace DVD-R (or possibly the source used for the DVD-R). It's decent quality but I'd love to get this in HD (along with those stragglers from the rest of his filmography).

I was expecting Arrow to release Lulu seeing as the clips from it during Udo's interview on the Jekyll disc looked really good. The 4 episodes he shot for Série rose could due with a quality release as well. The series is out on DVD but Boro's episodes would make for great extra features on a new release of one of his films.

Don't know if it's been noted elsewhere but Wicked Vision are releasing Immoral Women fully uncut and English friendly on blu-ray in June. Pre-orders are live.

Wicked vision just informed me that their release of Immoral women is no longer English friendly due to licensing agreements.

Bugger. Pity Arrow haven't released more Borowczyk films.

Love Rites coming out from Kino in August
Coming to DVD and Blu-ray August 31st from Kino Classics and StudioCanal!

    Love Rites (Cérémonie d'amour, 1987)
    Directed by Walerian Borowczyk
Starring Marina Pierro and Mathieu Carrière

Love Rites (Cérémonie d’amour) is cult director Walerian Borowczyk’s (The Beast) subversively erotic final feature. He returns with a vengeance to a signature theme—emasculation. Vain clothing buyer Hugo (Mathieu Carrière) meets beautiful Myriam (Marina Pierro) on the subway and pursues her, discovering to his delight that she’s a prostitute. The crafty Myriam, of course, has more in mind for their encounter than smug Hugo bargained for. Love Rites turns the sexual tables with perverse exactitude.

    Special Features:
*Shorter Director's Cut of the Feature (93 minutes, Blu-ray only)
*Brief von Paris (1976, short film by Walerian Borowczyk)
*Audio commentary by film historian Daniel Bird
    *New interview with Mathieu Carrière
    *Optional English subtitles
    *Trailer

Oh wow, didn't see that coming. Hopefully there's more Borowczyk in the pipeline.

Does this mean Studio Canal has the UK rights?
